Bringing Art to Life: Roving Art Studio Brings National Gallery Singapore to AMKP
As part of our vibrant Kaleidoscope aesthetics celebrations, our school welcomed the Roving Art Studio.
It was an exciting initiative brought to our school through the efforts of Mdm Azimah in collaboration with the National Gallery Singapore.
Students across all levels were introduced to iconic artworks by Singaporean artists, deepening their appreciation for local culture, history, and visual storytelling. The interactive setup transformed traditional art appreciation into an active learning experience. Students engaged with interactive props, tactile materials, and creative prompts designed to bring the artworks to life. Our dedicated parent volunteers played a key role in guiding students through the activities, making the experience meaningful, supportive, and engaging for every year group. To wrap up the session, students participated in guided reflections, expressing how the artworks made them feel and what new perspectives they gained as young artists.
